rottenbob 0 #1 June 27, 2010 i was hooked from the start! a little over a yr ago i did my first tandem.. from that point it was all about coming up with the cash to pay for afp training.. well here i am over a yr later getting ready to move on to afp d1.. first 3 afp jumps went great, good 90 degree turns recognizable patterns & good landings (almost stood up my first solo landing but stumbled a bit).. still felt great about it! so any advice on my d1 jump or in general is very welcome.. thanks and blue skies!!i rafuse to tip toe thru life, only to arrive safely at death
100LL 0 #2 June 27, 2010 i'd try to give you some advice on your D-1 jump...but i am just getting there myself. Its my next one to do. the only thing i have been told from my instructor that seems to make a big difference is an easy one....RELAX. try to not over think everything and you will be surprised how naturally you try to correct your turns and drifting during freefall. skycamefalling 0 #4 June 27, 2010 Definately arch and relax. But one thing you got to remember other than those 2 things......Have fun!!!! Speedracer~I predict that Michael Jackson will rise from the dead. And that a giant radioactive duck will emerge from the ocean and eat Baltimore.
