neue 0 #2 July 8, 2009 Awesome isn't it?! I'm from Manhattan, and was thinking of jumping at this DZ before we decided on the Ranch. The only bad part is there's no public transit to get there (from NYC.) Did you drive? I ended up doing the Ranch because of the bus service right out of Port Authority to New Paltz, which is like a stones throw from the DZ. Perhaps I'll make my way out there and try out that DZ sometime. I'm sucked in, and decided to start training AFF. Can't wait! skymama 37 #3 July 8, 2009 Welcome to the forums! On your next tandem, ask the dz if they offer the IAF program. That's where 3 tandems are part of the student training. Maybe your last jump and this one would qualify.
