simplechris 0 #1 February 1, 2009 Made my 2nd tandem this past thursday and it was 10x's better than the first. I knew what to expect this time but for some reason I was more nervous. Once I got in the airplane it went away though. I was much more aware and able to actually comprehend what was going on. We jumped a Cessna this time and that was a little interesting, but I got to open and fly the main a bit. Hopefully I will be able to start AFF this next week. I feel a lot more secure now that I know what steering and opening for yourself feels like. I wanted to do a 2nd tandem before I started AFF because looking at my video there is a lot I don't remember. Sensory overload is a bitch hahaha and now I understand why everyone kept mentioning it. farmgurl 0 #5 February 7, 2009 Quote Welcome to the forums! That's nice to hear. I'll be going for my third tandem this summer. I was much better the second time, but still don't think I'm ready for AFF. Lol, and as long as I don't think I'm ready, it doesn't matter what anyone else thinks.
