Dave_P 0 #1 October 30, 2008 Hi all, So I did my first tandem about 6 weeks ago, which was great, and this past weekend took a few days away from everything and finished my AFF ! The skydiving was great, but just as cool was meeting the instructors, staff, and locals at the Ramblers DZ in south queensland, australia. You quickly realise skydivers are one big family and everyone is looking out for each other ! A few days after the course now, and while I am really proud, mostly what I cant get my mind off is what I need to do next - what wasnt I happy with after the course and where do I need to improve, what will I try and get from my next jump. I am dirt diving in my loungeroom and doing practice pulls at my desk.. This could be a problem BTW this is a great forum and resource for anyone starting out in the sport. I have found a lot of threads here which really put things in perspective, and reaffirm that persistence is the key, and the rewards will be great. Cheers all - Blue Skies ! Live to love, love to jump, jump to live! Blue skies! If flying is piloting a plane.. then swimming is driving a boat. I know why birds sing.. I skydive.
