j3zz 0 #1 May 21, 2004 I have just bought a rig that has connector links, the first jump I did (Before I bought it) when I tried to collapse the slider one of the brakes popped putting me into a spin (Spectre 150 loaded about1.2) I unstowed both other break and all was well, a bit funky for a first test jump. Anyway I curios to know what people recommend the rig has no slider bumpers currently. What would you all recomend jusr buy so bumpers or go for Slinks with bumpers I am not interested in pulling the slider down, Please could someone explain the benefits\diadvantages of both Thanks J "Now I know why the birds fly" Hinton Skydivers
ryand96 0 #2 May 21, 2004 If you decide to use slinks, PD ships slink riser covers with every set of new slinks ordered. The slink riser covers will prevent the slider from coming down the risers.
