wannabediver 0 #9 June 10, 2008 Thanks kids for the warm welcome~Nice to be here! Skymama, my boys are soooo AWESOME!!! Evans is nearly 17 and stands 6'3. He's super smart, handsome and a great surfer/snowboarder. Very conservative like I was at his age. (Boy, how I've changed)! lol Shea is 11 and is too cute! He is my little daredevil~Loves to BMX and scare the crap outta me w/ his crazy airs. He likes to skimboard and skateboard too! Like his brother, he does well in school, but is not as conservative. He's more the class clown, but in a happy way. He drives his teacher nuts sometimes! Both are christians and hopefully will never stray. Either way, they're HIS forever! :-) I'm hoping they will both get the urge to jump someday. It would be great to join them! wannabediver 0 #13 June 10, 2008 Hi, I waited 23 years before making my first jump after chickening out in '81. I was 18 at the time, and was too scared to out by myself. Tandems made all the difference for me! (And the fact that my older brother was back jumping after a 14 year layoff, and was able to dock on me during my first three tandems). vskydiver 0 #14 June 10, 2008 No I can't ever make it to Chick's Rock. It falls on the exact same weekend as "Family Weekend" does. My husband and I have to go back to Boston to visit my daughter in College over there. We only get to see her during this family weekend and a couple weeks in December/January for the holidays. So as much as I really, really want to go to Chick's Rock, I'm just not going to be there. I'm going to see Lysa on Wednesday. I'm the extremewheelchairs one on skydiversnetwork at the skydivers with disabilities forum and pink mafia sistehood forum, (but didn't find anyone to dock with yet... )... did dock with 7 other guys involved.... chicks rule, if we can draw out 7 guys of a plane to chase us down holding hands, while a 8th guy is video taping it all.
