widdy 0 #1 October 19, 2007 Hi all, Seeing as I'm set to add skydiving to my collection of sports I thought it would be a good idea to join a forum and glean extra knowledge. I just completed my 3rd AFF jump. It went like a dream. Spending 5 minutes in a wind tunnel the day before - playing tag with the instructor - added so much confidence to the jump that I was grinning from 15k feet to the ground. This may not be the best place to ask - anyone know if a Performance Design Stiletto 135 main chute is suitable for a beginner? I'm starting to look for gear. Cheers! monkycndo 0 #3 October 20, 2007 I agree with bodypilot1, a Spinetto is not suited for a student. Talk to Adam or K-Bob about gear.50 donations so far. Give it a try. You know you want to spank it Jump an Infinity

widdy 0 #6 October 21, 2007 I figured that would be the answer . I won't be cutting corners jumping out of a plane - I'll take my time and get what's right. Thanks guys!
widdy 0 #7 November 19, 2007 Hi all, This past weekend was awesome! My AFF instructor graduated me to solo diver on my 5th jump, and I immediately went back to up to complete my 6th - first solo - jump with a magnificent sunset view over the ocean! Graduating early will also allow me to complete my A license for "free" (traded in my last two AFF tickets for jump tickets). Woohoo! Blue skies (I'm starting to understand this phrase better), Widdy.
