huckfinn 0 #1 May 12, 2004 There are several questions that pertain to "having performed duties under his/her certificate for at least 90 days within the preceding 12 months". Are they saying you must pack FOR at least 90 days in that 12 months? If so, do I have to pack a rig a day or what? Obviously this is a currency issue, but I didn't think you had to be that current. If you don't meet these requirements, what then? Thanks very much to any who can help clarify! Ginny
cadmium 0 #2 May 12, 2004 As for most FARs, this is up for interpretation. Things that count for currency may be but are not limited to: packing a reserve, packing a main, assembly, "supervising" others packing/rigging, seminars, sewing, reading an article/forum, etc. If you are at leat a little active in the sport you have nothing to be concerned about. If you "feel" you aren't current, seek help from a current rigger. For further clarification I would ask a DPRE.
