Hello from Scotland

Recommended Posts

Hello skydivers of the world:)
My name's Stuart from Edinburgh (Scotland), I've recently returned to the sport after a break of 15 years and wouldn't you know, parachutes are square now, whatever next, men walking on the moon?

I completed my A license over in Seville at christmas and jumped my half century last week. I'm working towards my B and hopefully, weather permitting, I should complete it this summer?

After my 1st jump I was told, "That's one more of us and 1 less of them", how true?

Take care and blue skies to you all ;), Stuart.
In love and life I hath no fear as I was born with Scottish blood.

Hi skymama,

Squares are the real deal, i don't know why peapole would want to jump round anymore? I've gone from a PD280 to a Fury 220, I'm now jumping a Sabre 170, it's like going from a mini to a ferrari, there's no comparison?

Will stick with 170 for at least a season, don't want to run before i can walk?

Take care, Stuart.

Hello Stuart and welcome to dizzy.com!

Last year I came back after a 5yr. lay-off...I can't imagine 15! It's good to be back though, isn't it??!!:)
Oh, and glad to see you won't let 'down-sizeitis' get you...many people have it and it's not healthy, in fact, it could be lethal![:/]

Blue skies right back at you!
