Greetings from Oregon!

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody! Hope all is well wherever you are in the world. Let me recap my weekend for you...there was no skydiving involved *sad*. BUT, I did spend the better part of Saturday watching tandem and AFF clips on YouTube, which has confirmed that I should jump.

I'm going to try a tandem sometime this summer and (if I like it, which who wouldn't?) possibly do some AFF training next spring. I WOULD start this spring but, being a college student, there is a severe lack of disposable income. Hopefully I can stash some money this summer. If all goes according to plan my home DZ would be through Eugene Skydivers (anyone used them? I'd love some feedback)

I'm also in complete awe of base jumping. Seen a few clips on KL Tower and Norway Jumps. I'm wondering if anybody here has ever jumped in Yosemite (yes it's illegal, blah, blah, blah). I would love, love, LOVE to hear about Yosemite jumps!!!

Anyways, I figure by writing it down, now I'm committed. I...will...jump. : ) Happy Landings!

Completely unrelated question to Oregon jumpers. Anybody know of DZs in the Southern OR area? Eugene is closest on DZ.com

You can try Skydive Medford at 1-800-791-5867

Welcome to skydiving and welcome to the forums!

Hope this helps...
