Braveheart 0 #1 March 12, 2007 Hi everyone, I'm booked in to take my AFF in Sunny Sebastian, Florida, this time next month. (A nice change from cold Scotland). Presently, I have days where I'm really up for it and looking forward to it, but the next day I am terrified by the thought of it..... Is this normal .....? If so, how do you overcome those 'bad days'. Any advice much appreciated. Cheers, Sid.

Peej 0 #3 March 12, 2007 Welcome to the forums! You have to just put faith in yourself and in your instructors and just do it! Hopefully once you have recieved the training it will become clearer to you that you can actually do it. Advertisio Rodriguez / Sky
Hayfield 0 #4 March 12, 2007 Don't let the little coward we all have in us beat you!! The coward likes to be home on the couch, where it's safe. He used to make it hard to swallow and tell me to turn around and go home when I turned onto the DZ's road. The terror will lessen in time, but you have to keep with it. Kick the coward in the ass and learn to skydive on your own, it may just be the most rewarding thing you'll ever do.
