siddacious 0 #1 November 17, 2006 Hey guys and gals! I thought it was about time I said hello (I've been lurking for about a month now). I'm currently waiting (impatiently, mind you) for the weekend to come around so I can finish up AFF with level 8 at Bay Area Skydiving in Byron. The gist of my story is probably fairly common: A friend called me on a whim the wednesday before labor day, asking if I wanted to do a tandem the following Sunday. I of course jumped at the chance, and I've been at the DZ almost every weekend since. One thing I can say for sure is that the people at Byron are totally awesome. Though I enjoyed my tandem and AFF classes, it was the warm reception from the staff and regulars that I've had throughout my AFF levels that have made it hard to stay away. Thanks everybody for the friendly welcome, and especially for the offers to pick me up in a van and drive me around for 15 minutes after my jumps so I'd feel at home. Well, I only get naked when I'm really drunk or when skydiving on a warm day (more often the latter than the former). But if I'm gonna do it drunk, what better place that "Pee Wee's" eh?
