xparas_daughter 0 #1 July 11, 2006 Hi all I just got back from completing my static line round parachute course (last weekend 8th July) but unfortunately was unable to jump due to high wind speeds Going to keep popping down to the DZ to hopefully catch a calmer day and I can't wait to do my 1st jump!! I have also been seriously thinking about doing the AFF course and like many others I am looking at doing this overseas in hope of better weather conditions, probably looking at next year now though to allow myself time to 1) Save the money and 2) Make sure I am serious about this. Anyway I was wondering if there is anyone else looking to do this course next year who will be willing to book with me. I live in Nottingham (West Midlands) and think it would be great if we could get a small group of us to do the course together...... what do you think? Thanks for reading and look forward to seeing your replies
 skymama 37 #2 July 11, 2006 Welcome to the forums! As for looking to do your training abroad find out if there are any Uni trips from any university groups that jump at Langer and tag along with them.
