skydonkey 0 #1 May 5, 2004 Im planning on getting cut corner mod to my Mirage G3 to go wingsuiting. Will my rig still be safe for freefly? (could lines be exposed from corners due to high airspeed)
hookitt 1 #2 May 5, 2004 The side flaps wrap around the bottom corners pretty tightly so it should be fine.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
diablopilot 2 #3 May 5, 2004 Can't see any problem with it specificaly because of the wrapped corners on the Mirage, but have you made wingsuit jumps with out the mod? I've found it to be unnecessary.---------------------------------------------- You're not as good as you think you are. Seriously.

dragon2 2 #5 May 5, 2004 From what I've been told: I wanted to cut the corners on my Atom. So far it hasn't been necessary tho so I was doubting (why fix something that ain't broke). I very rarely get linetwists on my Classic2, and in 3 jumps with a S3 only once, 'cause of me being slightly wobbly. What made up my mind is that I jump a lot of canopies (I currently own 4) and except for the Lightning all have been/will be in my Atom at one time or another. If the main is slightly big, freeflying with it may become problematic. So I'm leaving the corners be for now, maybe when I'm jumping a higher performance suit it may become more interesting, or maybe not. But at least for now, don't need it. ciel bleu, Saskia

Ahh, my profile was a bit out of date. I should have around 210 (in the last 15 months) by the time I do the groundschool and coached first jumps in 3 weeks time I think I might opt to just slap a longer bridle and larger PC in and see how the openings go before i let someone loose with a machete on my container. Thanks for the info
