it's real. I go to school and jump. the objective is to make me employable to the skydiving industry. I get 200 jumps at pudding hill in 6 months and then I get sent to a dropzone to gain work experience for 3 months. after that it's up to me if I want to work in the industry

Hi,
Thanks for the welcome :)
My biggest fear...malfunctions. On my second jump I had a line twist and my toggles were already out. I was able to kick myself out and grab the toggles. In one sense, I'm glad I've already experienced it, but now I fear worse.
I'm also far too hard on myself thinking I'm going to suck.

Well I was affraid of malfunctions as well. I learned from my instructor and mentors that there are mals you can fix or land and others you can't. You need to evaluate the problem and make a decision by your decision altitude. I have not had a chop yet (knock on wood) but I have had managable mals. Most of all I have faith in my reserve. I also check my handles in order at least twice before every jump.

Door anxiety was also an issue for me, it passed on jump 23.

I have 460 jumps and I still suck! The learning curve is rather steep in this sport and I am having a great time on the journey.

I hope you find your way back into the sky.
