pincheck 0 #2 April 5, 2006 welcome Andrew hope you are enjoying college, probably the best way for you to go is joining your campus club. Don't know much about the American setup but the uni students here are all just party monsters that jump. Sadly i know a number of them for which my body pays a terrible price. have a nice time jumping Dude as summer is just round the corner Billy-Sonic Haggis Flickr-Fun

AllisonH 0 #4 April 5, 2006 Hey Andrew! Nice picture :-) I think I have a copy of it somewhere in my stack from spring break. Hope the weather is treating you guys well in Kansas. My DZ just opened for the season last weekend and it was too cloudy to get above 3 or 4,000 ft. Oh well, a hop & pop is better than no jump at all! At least you have lots of places to land, 'cause there's NOTHING IN KANSAS except corn fields. Trust me, I grew up in Kansas City, Missouri. :) Now I'm a little way down the road from you, in Tulsa. Quoteplanning on buying my first rig this year, and going to couch freaks and bridge day. I think KSUPC also hosted a boogie last summer (2005); several Kansas dropzones and maybe some from further away all brought their Cessnas. I think they're going to do it again this summer, but I don't think it's going to be at your Manhattan-area airport like it was last year. You might want to ask about that boogie at the club. It's good that you can do it at a university club... no matter how expensive you think it is, it costs even more to do it "retail". Even so, this link will help you get through attending college and learning to jump at the same time. :) Welcome! EulePLF does not stand for Please Land on Face. DaLowestBird 0 #7 April 18, 2006 Quotebut I was toying with the idea of selling my car earlier this month...reply] Funny you should mention that...I'm about to go get a lien from the bank on the two cars that I own so that I can get my first rig. Thats the whole reason I stopped jumping for four years...couldn't afford to pay rig rental prices, jump ticket prices, and save up for my rig all at the same time. Good luck and blue skies.Convo between my friend and his ex... Nick - "Chad talked me into skydiving." Her - "I thought you didn't like extreme sports" Nick - "Dating you WAS an extreme sport."
