wightout 0 #1 January 19, 2006 Hi everyone! New here...but looking forward to learning lots from all of you! I did jump #7 at the Memorial Boogie at Skydive Mesquite this weekend and I'm off student status! Thanks Brad (and thanks to you and John for helping me win @ the tables!!). Had an awesome time! My jumpmaster for 1-7 (except #5) was Brian from Skydive Ogden. Can't thank you enough Brian! You are an amazing teacher! And thanks to everyone from S.O. for accepting me into the "family"! Ya'll are awesome! Suzanne...you are a sweetheart! Thanks for your advice and friendship! I love this sport...it has helped me conquer a lot since starting in Nov ), but my friends Kelly and John let me pack for them! Thanks to you two for teaching me, trusting me with your lives I'm looking forward to honing my flying skills this summer and jumping A LOT! I love jumping out of the plane, no fear there...but my landings SUCK!! Got to work hard on that. I just don't trust that pulling the toggles that close to the ground is actually gonna work . I've had a couple of hard landings...good thing I'm a tough chick! So, hope to see everyone @ S.O. in Feb for the Val Day jump (weather permitting!!)To borrow a line from Squeak...MY LIFE ROCKS!! HOW'S YOURS??!!!

brianfry713 0 #3 January 20, 2006 Congrats on finishing AFF. Have some fun and start working on that A license. Don't worry if you're landings aren't perfect yet. It takes some practice. Trust your toggles and use them to land, it'll be softer that way.BASE 1224, Senior Parachute Rigger, CPL ASEL IA, AGI, IGI USPA Coach & UPT Tandem Instructor, PRO, Altimaster Field Support Representative
