JMCJoshM 0 #1 August 22, 2005 Holy hell that was exhilirating.. She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
 JMCJoshM 0 #3 August 22, 2005 Sorry.. shoulda specified.. I did a tandem jump, and will probably do another within a month, which will give me a chance to save up the money to pay for STP classes/jumps all up front and save some money (though from what I'm reading nobody gets them right on the first time) either way, i need to go again.
 nessvegas 0 #4 August 22, 2005 I also took advantage of paying for my AFF up front. You are right, it is a great motovator not to fail any particular level. Keep in mind that many students pass AFF (not familiar with static line course) without having to re-jump. I know it is easy to spend a weekend at the DZ meeting great people and wanting to knock out 3-4 jumos a day, but my advice is don't do it fast. I really enjoyed spending the time talking to each of the instructors after my debrief, get different thoughts on the jump. We are so new to thius sport that the mental overload can be exhausting. I believe some great students failed jumps simply becausethey were in overload from too much too quick. I know I had one very close to failure, and that happened to be the day I pushed myself to do more than my mind wanted to do that day. You will do great.....Have fun. _________________________________________ I married the right one......it just took me 2 times!
