andrewp 0 #1 August 3, 2005 Finally took the plunge and made my first jump this past Saturday at West Tennessee Skydiving. Instructor was Dane Justice... seemed like a pretty cool guy. I still feel a little bad because I completely forgot to arch on exit. Was my first time in an airplane as well. Definitely was a little curious about how it would be in the King Air after reading what people had said about it... but that was a blast too. Now all I need to know is how the hell I can afford it! bigorangemd 0 #2 August 3, 2005 Glad to see you enjoyed it. Dane is one of the best guys you'll ever meet and the finest skydiver you'll ever meet. Glad you enjoyed it. PM me if you are interested in the first jump course. You'll be hooked for life I promise. As for the arch, it was your tandem jump, if you got down to the ground, you did great! Sopheavy 0 #4 August 3, 2005 Hooray for your first jump and plane ride! I made my first jump two weekends ago also! I’m having the same problem, trying to figure out how I’m going to afford it. It will pay off in the long run once you you finish your STP training and get your License. I’m cutting back on eating out, spending, shopping, etc. When I first Started photography, I spent A LOT of money also but it paid off later on.---------------------------------------------- ---------------------------------------------- If you want to see the rainbow, you gotta put up with the storm. God bless! :)
Knobee 0 #5 August 3, 2005 Quote Was my first time in an airplane as well. So, you've had 1 full skydive but only 1/2 an airplane flight. Nice! Those that have not jumped can not understand Those that have jumped can not explain.
