I've never been skydiving ( damn DZ's won't allow it until I'm 18) but I want to learn as much about it as I can right now since that's all I can do. But for my 18th bd I'm gonna jump come hell or high water! And if anyone knows of a DZ in Florida that will allow you to jump at 17 with parental consent lemme know!! angelsdiving 0 #3 July 14, 2005 thanks for the welcome! I live in a small ( and by small I mean SMALL!!) town outside jax. I know there's a DZ at Herlong airport but I haven't heard anything good about it. I know I'll have to wait until I'm 18 but that is a whole year away, because I'll only be 17 this coming Monday the 18th. I have one friend who was a skydiver, and he's the one who really got me interested in it although I've always wanted to. skymama 37 #4 July 14, 2005 The people who skydive really are cool and fun for the most part! Since you live near Jax, there are 3 dz's that are relatively close to you. The one in Palatka is the closest and then there are 2 more in Deland and Titusville.
