jstippey33 0 #1 June 22, 2005 Hi my name is jeff and I am looking for skydiver's in Dallas/ Fort Worth area. I just moved down here a while ago and haven't been able to meet anyone yet. Skydive Dallas is about 2 1/2 hour drive and I don't want to drive that far by myself both ways. Please introduce yourself if you are from this area as it is always nice to meet jumpers. With Respect, Jeff
AggieDave 6 #2 June 22, 2005 There's a crapload of jumpers in the DFW area. A number of them don't drive to SDD, they go to Eagle Flight or Cow Town as well.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

heidihagen 0 #5 June 30, 2005 if he lives in fort worth, it's about that far. i spend a lot of time in fort worth, and figured it's about a 2 hr. drive to sdd. i decided it's easier to hit my homedz on the way home because it sits right between houston and ft worth.i didn't lose my mind, i sold it on ebay. .:need a container to fit 5'4", 110 lb. cypres ready & able to fit a 170 main (or slightly smaller):.[/ce

As far as drop zones go.. theres Eagle Flight in Granbury, Skydive Cowtown somewhere north of FW, and Skydive Dallas. Heidi jumps at Skydive Aggieland, which is a great dz too. Diversgodown 0 #12 July 5, 2005 Thanks for the mail about the DZ's. I got this guy I work with eh told me about Billy Bob's a bar you can actually ride bulls at. I'm toying around with the idea of getting my PBR license and trying that out. I just don't know if I like the idea of a bull tramping on my head. OUCH! Think I'll stick to getting my jumps done and buying my gear first!!! ***Glory Favors the Bold***
