G4 Line Stows

On my G4 bag (probably like every one elses's) is has it where you stow the last loops of line down 4 sets or bands on ether side to the last one in the middle (on my canopy it takes 4 bands on each side because the line is long. Mirage said that is ok). My question is, how tight should the last stows be? I am using small bands but they I don't know how tight they should be. They might seem a little loose.

I use the small bands and yes they seem loose but they have worked fine for me.

I like my stows a bit more snug thant that. I find a large band doubled works well....

You can install the rubber bands in a way that makes them tighter. See the TubeStow(tm) instructions.

It may be easier to install them using a pullup cord.

Here is another question for you G4 guys. How much force does it take to pull your pin. What is the best way to measure that? do you measure it with the pilot chute in the poutch and the flap over the pin?

Close the rig completely with the flap over the pin, then pull on the bridle perpendicular to the rig that is lyin on the ground. If you can raise your rig it's too tight.

Changed my outer two rubberbands on the front and all the rubberbands in the back to the large ones and I now double wrap. Thanks for the info JP and GravityGirl.
