Jason_Adamo 0 #1 August 5, 2004 Hello i'm only 16 3/4 years old but i figure looking now for what to do when i turn 18 will help so here i am. I have always loved the sky and anything that fly's or in this case falls. this sport looks like it's great and i can't wait to start so i have a few questions if you can help that would be great. First i'm going to skydive city in florida to learn i'm going to get my AFF and USPA sertifications. Any other ones i need to think about? Second i'm looking at a mirage G4 rid is it smart to spend the money for a first rig? I am also thinking of a precision nitron main what do you think? My reserve i am thinking of a aerodyne smart what do you think of it? I know i need to wait before buying my gear but i figure this is a good time to start thinking about it. But i will definitely get my AFF first. Any info would help thanks, Jason Adamo
skymama 37 #2 August 5, 2004 Welcome to the forums! Don't worry too much about your gear right now. You never know how things will change over the next 1 1/2 years for one thing. The best thing to do is to wait and talk to your instructors about it.She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
