eatinraw 0 #1 July 15, 2004 Hi I am eatinraw, I am a new member and new student skydiver. I just made some major changes in my life and discovered skydiving along the way. I am a raw food vegan working at a raw food institute in Michigan. I am 47 years old and my 53 year old boss talked me into going skydiving. It was the first time for both of us. I am hooked, I think about jumping all the time. I even look at the sky differently than I ever did before. Skydiving has changed my life, I feel younger and liberated. I have made 3 static line jumps so far in two weeks and am going back for more as soon as possible. See you in the sky...
AggieDave 6 #2 July 16, 2004 Ok, a serious question. Is beer ok for vegans? Now on past the seriousness... Welcome to skydiving and welcome to DZ.com! I'm sure you'll find you're more then welcome here.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

Since I didn't make my first jump until I was 50 I love to hear about "older" jumpers getting into the sport. It's true, skydiving does keep you young. I feel much younger now than I did before I started skydiving, think my whole perspective on life changed with skydiving. Good luck!
