Evo and Protrack

Does any one have a z1 Evo and protrack audible combination. I have not jumped it in my helmet yet but it seems a little tight against my ear, maybe even a little uncomfortable. Did any one find this to be true? How close it an audible supose to be to your ear? I have the right size and everyting.

Yes I have a Z-1 EVO and a Protrack on each side.

Yes its tight.. be sure to push the protrack down into the pouch ALL the way... AND turn it around so the screen on the audible is facing towards the helmet.
I LIKE having my nice LOUD audible going off right there.

Let me guess, you have an XL Evo? I have the exact same problem, and deal with it exactly as Amazon describes but I have to admit that it is still not exactly comfortable.

The way it has been explained to me, the shell is the same size for all the helmet sizes and it is the liner which changes. So the XL has a very thin liner... and instead of the Protrack being set into the liner and away from your skull, it is pressed right against your head. Now I don't buy a helmet without having tried it on WITH the protrack AND goggles (if necessary)...

On the plus side, I am glad to know that this is not just me with my odd shaped head!!

I had one for a couple weekends. The audible smashed my ear so I took it out. It would have definately messed up my ear with a light impact.

I gave it back to the dealer to sell again for cheap.

I know that the skytronic is in compatition with a protrack but they really should have and option to mount one like they do with the skytronic. It would provide more room.
