skeptik 0 #1 April 17, 2004 I have a question: How tight I need to tighten a rapid links for not-overtight it? I was read somewhere that I must tighten it with hand and then tight it more with spanner for one half of turnover. It is right? I can't find where I can read it. --------------------------------------- Íàñ ó÷èëè íå æèòü, íàñ ó÷èëè óìèðàòü ñòîÿ.
henrik.anderson 0 #2 April 17, 2004 I use the small(5") spanner and with that I tight it by hand.
Slowfaller 0 #3 April 17, 2004 my rigger told me what you said, tighten by hand and go around a half of a turn w/ a wrench. if anyone has a problem w/ me giving out this info please PM me. I know how many jumps I have but am positive on this. I watched my rigger do it to my rig when it was assembled. hookitt 1 #4 April 17, 2004 You're close. Tighten the links as far as you can with your fingers, then use a wrench to tighten them another quarter turn.My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
