RichardWeed 0 #1 March 26, 2004 I completed AFF a week or so ago at Perris. Now coming around to my 15th jump I have already got my G3 and my safire2 ready to go. Addicting ......hmmm.... I don't think so. Not quite ready to jump it, I have a to transition through one more canopy, but I had to have it. Anyway likin Perris, loved the tunnel. I have done alot of "fun" things in my day, but this takes the cake!!!!
packerboy 3 #2 March 26, 2004 Man... I wish I had a tunnel when I started... that is sweet! Man.. I wish I had money for gear when I started... that is sweet! Oh wait I still don't have gear, at least the dropzone rents it to me for free since turning me into a slave! Wait a second.. did you say last week? I was snowboarding last week, fun, but not as fun as skydiving. I wish I lived in California for the winter... that is sweet! -------------------------------------------------- In matters of style, swim with the current; in matters of principle, stand like a rock. ~ Thomas Jefferson

skymama 37 #5 March 26, 2004 Welcome to the forums! Are you going to be using the tunnel for more training? She is Da Man, and you better not mess with Da Man, because she will lay some keepdown on you faster than, well, really fast. ~Billvon
RichardWeed 0 #6 March 26, 2004 For now my plan is to get back to the tunnel every ten jumps or so. Especially right now during my solo jumps, everything feels great but for all I know I am sliding off into oblivion. Looking forward to my coach jumps to see my progression. Oh and the calendar was already marked. A couple of my good friends own a 3d studio and they are going to help me produce some skydiving related clothing. Where should I look for peoples input on what they would like to see. I have noticed that a good majority of the t-shirts etc. are borderline cheesy (my opinion). freeflybella 0 #11 March 27, 2004 Hee hee. Dick Weed. Anyway, to your thread title...I saw those words on someone's gear. The cutaway pillow said "Dude" The reserve pillow said "Sweet" Nice. Action expresses priority. - Mahatma Ghandi
slotperfect 7 #12 March 27, 2004 Welcome to the forums and congrats on completing AFF! You're a smart one to continue to "train your way down" to your new gear. There's a really great article HERE by our very own billvon on that very subject . . . you may find it helpful. I assume you are continuing to seek coaching/instruction . . . maybe you can show the article to your instructor/coach and they can help you train on each maneuver?!?! You tunnel time will pay off big time. You are spending your money and time wisely there! Rock on! Arrive Safely John
