Flyer2Diver 0 #1 March 18, 2004 Greetings all - Well there I was in Las Vegas last weekend, doing some aerobatics flight lessons in an Extra 300 and having a great time, and it just so happened that my instructor had been a professional skydiver in a past life. He suggested that I try a jump. You can probably all guess what happened next. I ended up doing two tandem jumps and having an fantastic time! Now back in NY where it's been snowing (ugh!) - can't wait for warmer weather so I can start training. (probably at The Ranch) Blue Skies (and warm weather!), John_______________________________ 30005KT 10SM SKC 23/05 A3006
Amazon 7 #2 March 18, 2004 GREAT another one comes over to really flying.... there is an adage... If you REALLY want to fly....GET OUT of the airplane. Have fun and listen carefully to your instructors. I was just up the road from Vegas this last weekend at the lucky Boogie in Mesquite NV.. I got in 14 jumps in that BEAUTIFUL sunny sky. Stay safe

SlyFox 0 #4 March 18, 2004 Congrats on your jumps and welcome to the forum. *****Why would anyone jump from a perfectly good airplane? Because it isn't much fun if it's broke.****
