skydivellama 0 #1 January 28, 2004 Hi all, I started skydiving and lurking the forums about a year ago. Only have 59 dives so far , mainly due to lack of money. I seem to spend about as much time on DZ.com as I do at the real DZ though, so I thought I'd reveal myself. Looking forward to getting to know you folks! Big hello to anyone else who jumps at The Skydiving Place in NC! skydivellama 0 #6 January 29, 2004 Thanks everyone! You all who are coming to NC soon should have some better weather coming up. It's certainly been bad enough lately to make this llama want to spit. But I'll try not to get any bystanders. Raefordite 0 #7 January 30, 2004 Hello skydivellama! Welcome to posting. Sounds like your have your act together. Skydive when the budget allows. Don't worry, those skydives will add up before you know it! We're hoping for a lot better weather this weekend than last. We could always use packers. If looking for extra cash, consider packing for a few jumps or for jump money.
skydivellama 0 #8 January 30, 2004 Good idea.. now if only I could pack faster than 30-40 minutes per job. "Perhaps she saw before her a lifetime of walking on the ruined earth and chose instead a single moment in the air." -Carolyn Parkhurst
Raefordite 0 #9 January 31, 2004 QuoteGood idea.. now if only I could pack faster than 30-40 minutes per job. _________________________________________ Ok, so presently you make $10 per hour. Not all that bad for a starter. With practise, who knows, soon it will be 20 minutes per pack, or $15 per hour. Then 15 minutes per pack, which translates to $20 per hour. Do you make more than $20 per hour during your regular job now? Don't worry about going fast. The speed will come. Try it!
