North95 0 #1 December 16, 2003 I had to pause my AFF due to a crash landing on AFF 1. (Don't ask; the details were well hashed out in Incidents) Today I had my 11 week post-crash CT scan. (Ironically I do CT scans at this hospital for a living) Anyway, my bones healed about as well as possible. Much better than my neurosurgeon expected. He didn't object to me diving again, which is totally amazing. About as much as can be expected from a wuffo doctor. So I plan on starting AFF again at Eloy next March or April. I've been planning this for weeks. I've already traded E-mails to arrange the details with Eloy. On the down side, I will be going back to work in two weeks. I was ready to go now, but my doc wanted me to take two more weeks. Soon I will find myself on the right end of the scanner. Blue Skies NorthRepetition does not transform a lie into a truth. Chute 0 #5 December 17, 2003 I know the next post will be a "I did it" post. Heads up, feet together and land like a dove. Oh BTW the heads up feet together was not me telling you how to land but Like Casey Kasem say's. keep your feet on the ground and keep reaching for the stars. But us skydivers don't want our feet on the ground. so..............ok I will shut up!Bottomless Beers and Blue Skies! * Brother_Brian * D.S.W.F.S.B. #

North95 0 #7 December 20, 2003 QuoteI know the next post will be a "I did it" post. Heads up, feet together and land like a dove. Huh?? And cindee - let me/us know how your MRI comes out. I'll be jealous if you get up in the air before me, but I hope you do. BTW I'm a Radiologic Technologist myself, and I had an MRI after my crash, so if you have any questions feel free to ask me. And thanks for the encouragement from everyone. NorthRepetition does not transform a lie into a truth. Franklin D. Roosevelt
