fields 0 #1 April 13, 2004 I am considering getting Deborah Blackmon's Rigger Sourcebook. I understand she is no longer updating them, and I imagine they might soon be hard to find. Is it overkill? I would like to have manuals, as very few people have manuals for their gear. Any opinions or guidance would be appreciated."And the sky is blue and righteous in every direction" Survivor Chuck Palahniuk
kenneth21441 0 #2 April 14, 2004 What I would recommend is that you. Contact the different manufactors and request a copy. But what I do is since the internet is such a great thing most all manufacotrs place there stuff on the net.. to either print from them or save them on cd to use if needed. if any one shows up without there manual for repack that is what I use.. or I will not repack it if I dont have the manual..... thanks Ken..Kenneth Potter FAA Senior Parachute Rigger Tactical Delivery Instructor (Jeddah, KSA) FFL Gunsmith
riggerrob 643 #3 April 14, 2004 I never did buy DeborahBlackman's book because I was able to photo copy hundreds of old manuals. Now most of those old manuals gather dust. All the manuals that I use on a regular basis I got off the internet. You can save hundreds of dollars by printing packing manuals off the internet.
