Incredible...

Recommended Posts

I just wanted to check in and say "Hi"; I did my first AFF last week for a friend's 30th birthday and am HOOKED. I am going to head back out again next week for two more jumps, and am looking forward to getting certified.

I have to say that I owe a good portion of my enthusiasm and good experience to the staff at Perris Valley Skydiving, especially my instructors/jumpmasters Ule and Eric. They taught me everything I needed to know to make my first jump with confidence. I even dealt with a parachute "problem" according to the procedures Ule taught me, it was very positively affirming to know that I could tackle it and maintain my cool. (I know, I know, it was only that my lines were twisted, but hey, it is slightly disconcerting to jump for the first time, look up, and have a problem with your canopy). For any first timers in the SoCal area, I cannot recommend them strongly enough.

Anyways, I am totally hooked and very excited about continuing with program. Hope to see some of you out there.

Hey, twisted lines can sometime be a huge problem, no need to think that was nothing. You have every right to be proud that you kept your cool on your first jump!

Yeah what she said. Great job keeping your head. Welcome to the skies and welcome to the forums

Welcome to your new life. I'm from Riverside originally, and I can't wait to get back home for a visit so I can jump Perris. If everything I hear is true, then it will only enhance that warm feeling I get every time I visit home.

Again, welcome and thanks for sharing your first jump with us. B|
