Evelyn 0 #1 October 1, 2003 Hi all, I'm new to the sport and to the forums. I graduated from Jim Wallace Skydiving School in Perris, CA last month and am working towards my license (22 jumps - almost there). Everyone I've met at the Perris DZ has been very friendly and helpful, especially since I got off student status and started doing solo jumps. I'm looking forward to meeting more friendly, helpful people at Dropzone.com. I've discovered that skydiving is not just a sport, but a way of life. I can't think of a better way to spend my life! McDuck 0 #6 October 3, 2003 You know, I grew up my entire childhood just over the Box Springs National Park from that DZ, and I never stopped in to check it out. I hope to make it back home in the next year or so, and I plan on making a stop there for a jump or two...you know, just to say I did. Welcome! Enjoy your new-found passion.Kevin - Sonic Beef #5 - OrFun #28 "I never take myself too seriously, 'cuz everybody know fat birds don't fly." - FLC Online communities: proof that people never mature much past high school.
