freefallfrank 0 #1 September 27, 2003 Well hello all! Been reading some of the discussions and yep you guessed it! I myself am hooked even though I made only one jump (IAD). I keep watching my video and man you should see the expression on my face (LOL),was like... the 'I am very crazy'expression. But I did it! Ripped my muscle on triceps left lower shoulder and didn't feel it until I landed!!! Damn! It was awesome and thrilling. Right on man! That's all I can say is RIGHT ON MAN!!! freefallfrank 0 #3 September 27, 2003 No.My first jump was IAD. Guess I almost got blown out of the plane by a strong wind sheer. Was at 4500'. Watching my video, I got surprised by the strongwind and grabbed on to the bar with my left hand, blown back, and finally grabbed on with my right arm. That one arm grab was very painful. Still sore as heck, but proud to have and injury that I could brag about!!!lol

Chrisky 2 #6 September 27, 2003 Sure do! Welcome to the forums! Always buy beer on a first experience, just to chat bout it with the older ones over a beer to have'em share theirs, that's how you will learn a lot. Not just on your FIRST topic, but also bout the people at the DZ! The mind is like a parachute - it only works once it's open. From the edge you just see more. ... Not every Swooper hooks & not every Hooker swoops ...
freefallfrank 0 #7 September 27, 2003 Gotcha! You're right on the money on that! The great crew that I was with and to thank is BARRY the big boss, CRAIG..the JM and the other cool JM the pilot. Of course the ground crew looking out for us and they numbered about 4. Really cool group of guys and gal(the brain and coordinator of paperwork). Thanks for the reminder, without these people I wouldn't have went on my thrilling adventure.
