freeflir29 0 #1 April 9, 2004 What does this cost? How long does it take? Who's the best at it? Might be going on an extended vacation and it'll be impossible to carry it with me. Can I just ship it straight to the DZ? Could I do that ahead of time or should I be there when it gets there?

freeflir29 0 #3 April 12, 2004 Thank you sir..........I just found out that I may not have to hide from the tax collector. It may actually be OK to step foot back in the US during my time off.

Raistlin 0 #5 April 15, 2004 A rather heavy rig (container and a 170ish reserve sans main) got here from Canada in exactly 19 days after the guy said he posted it; and it cost about $76 - canada post. On the other hand, a main is still getting here from the USA (it's been a month already), with about $50 cost - usps I believe. I can't wait... :p Subtract a few days (it being Russia in my case), and you get possibly correct estimate... To avoid any customs hassle, declare it as used/gift, and at a low value. If you put it on insurance, may want to leave the insurance field empty - if it does get lost, you get your money back anyway, and if it doesn't, the customs officers won't raise eyebrows. Of course, customs IS rather unfriendly (ok..very unfriendly) here, so it's an issue... :)
