skygazer 0 #1 August 14, 2003 I am new to the sport and absolutely thrilled by it! I have only made two tandem jumps and will be doing one more next month - I can't start my AFP until next Spring ($$$). It has totally changed my life. I am in my early 40's and thought I might be too old but I never felt better and never felt as ALIVE as I do now. I'm lucky - I have a very supportive husband (even though he really doesn't get it). I have been made to feel so welcome at our DZ (Skydive Chicago) and the folks there are the BEST. Well, that's me - staring up in the sky!!!_______________________________________

slotperfect 7 #7 August 14, 2003 Welcome, Peggy! It's always refreshing to hear of those like you who find such instant freedom in our sport. I'm glad you didn't talk yourself into the "I'm too old" game. Get the most out of your next tandem, and keep yourself jazzed here during the wait for your training to start. Keep us posted!
