Javelin HArness re-size

Recommended Posts

OK I placed a message on Sunpath site, but have had no reply.
So All you Riggers out there.
Can a Javelin harness be resized to be a little longer in the MLW, by either placing Hip Rings on it or by Lengthening the MLW itself?
I have a great J1 but the harness is just a little too short in the body for me. It fits great in all other areas.
So can it be done, how much to do and how long??
Could it be done whilst I'm in Florida in January???:)Any Help appreciated

I am not a rigger but I did have a Javelin resized by SunPath.

They will not put hip rings on it if it doesn't have them already. However, I had the laterals resized and new leg straps put on (went from B12 snaps to thread thru). I also had them install a bridle cover and replace the BOC pouch while they had it. I think it cost around $200 for all that.

It sounds like you have the exact same problem I did, mine was a little long on me. When I got mine back it was perfect. I was very pleased with the results.
