Been lurking around here for a while now, reading, learning and doing a thousand jumps from the comfort of my seat (handy thing being able to nip off to the toilet mid-freefall). I'm planning on doing my AFF 1 jump this weekend now that there is .05% chance it won't snow/rain/hail/produce a plague of locusts. Found the training and safety forums a massive help in mentally preparing for it - so cheers to everyone who has posted their wisdom. "blue skies, blue skies, blue skies then - oh - 6 foot of snow" Looks like the changeover to AFF is put on hold for a while. Well, at least until I can actually find the DZ again without some sort of thermal imaging equipment at least!
