ERAUSkydiver 0 #1 March 30, 2004 I have recently acquired a second hand Vector 3. Lastnight, went to the RWS website and downloaded the Vector # owner's manual. Of course since the Vector 3M is the most recent container that the RWS produces, the owner's manual always referenced the 3M rather than the orginal 3. My primary objective in looking at the owner's manual was to check out the canopy sizing chart in the last appendix. My question is, are the canopy pack volume limiations different between the Vector 3 (DOM '96) and the Vector 3M??
RyanofOZ 0 #2 March 30, 2004 I recently went through the same ordeal as you are. What I got out of it was the packing volume on the V3 was a little different, but not too far off. email them like I did to get the exact figure. rigging@relativeworkshop.com Louie there replies to me usually the same day or next day. Just send the container sise.Oz

To get the info you're going to ask them for, they're gonna pull the order/production sheet for that serial number. Get them to fax it to you. Lot of good information to have on the rig, and it will help with resale as well.Arrive Safely John

Pablito 0 #6 April 1, 2004 what container size you have? "If you don't overcome your fears they will overcome you first" Shady Monkey/6Segundos Rodriguez/AKA Pablito
ERAUSkydiver 0 #7 April 1, 2004 V348. Starting to think it's too small. RWS replied and said that it could take an F-111 PD-190 and even a PD-210 (though tight). This is great. However, he said the the container will hold a PD-160R (already installed) or a Raven I sized reserve. I think 160 is a bit small for me considering I dont want a main smaller than 190. Dont know much about the "Raven I sized reserve". I've only been able to find info on the newer Ravens. I asked for clarification on this.
Pablito 0 #8 April 1, 2004 V348 Mains;Batwing 171, Falcon 195, Monarch 175, PD 190, PD 210, Sabre 170, Silhouette 170, Spectre 170, Stiletto 170 Reserves;PD 160R, Raven 1, Swift 175, Tempo 170 Well RWS has a different container for different sizings, so you can macht a good diversity of convinations. the container size you need is a V355M, for a reserve matching your main.
