atsaubrey 0 #1 March 28, 2004 I am jumping a 370ft2 main and have a F-111 30 inch pilot chute. I cant say I've had any hestitaion with it but I am getting ready for the hop n pop and it has me worried. I dont care to get to termial before it comes out. It sounds like mjosparky has a pc if I need it but what does averyone else think?"GOT LEAD?"
Hazarrd 1 #2 March 28, 2004 hey. as far as im concernedl, the size of the PC affects the opening speed. as long as the force on your pin is the same as all other pins, the size of the pilot chute shouldnt matter. pulling sub-terminal may give you a bit of a hesitation, but no more than any other canopy. ive only got 170 jumps so take that with a grain of salt please. .-. Hasarrd, The size and condition of the PC affects weather it can lift the canopy and bag off at the sub-terminal speeds. Big guy, I will check yours out tomorrow and if it looks bad I have another with me. SparkyMy idea of a fair fight is clubbing baby seals
