AndyMan 7 #6 March 24, 2004 I get the Network Solutions page, too. It makes sense that some people still work, especially people who've recently visited the site before it was broken. The technical explanation is... technical. DNS information is cached, which means that it'll work for a short period of time until database values "expire", at which point your local copy will try to refresh itself against the master database, the master database won't find a copy and you'll get an error page. swooper120 0 #7 March 24, 2004 Their website is good until 2012 I believe...I checked the whois yesterday...basically, there is a good chance they know about this, because their email is probably not working correctly, or the amount of incoming mail is down tremendously. Just wanted to let them know...I dont have their number off hand..and being in the Internet /Website business..when a site is down, it really sucks.
