LawnDart21 0 #1 March 18, 2004 Okay, for any TMs out there that like jumping in shorts, I just found a kick ass all around great pair of shorts online that are perfect for tandem jumping. I was on www.foxracing.com and went to their onlnie store under BMX stuff and found a shorts version of their mx racing pants. Padding on the butt, super strong construction, they are a bit heavier than my jumpsuit pants, but they are rugged and will make sitting on an otter bench all day and slide in landings not so painful on the backside....lol. The were expensive, $89.00, but they look like they will last forever. Perfect Tandem jumping shorts. -- My other ride is a RESERVE.
GravityGirl 0 #2 March 19, 2004 We carry a pair called Jump n Bump. Padded butt and shins. Extra thigh protection. Zip off pants to shorts. AND, they make your butt look Niiiiice. Good for swooping and TMs. IMHO. Only problem is I can't find my pics. You can see them on Mathias Lundblad or Tim Mattson (aka Hookit) at the NorCal Classic Swoop Comp in Davis this Saturday. p.s. All Fox clothing is really, really cool! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
Stumpy 284 #3 March 19, 2004 I don't know if its the same, but bump n' jump is kitesurfing gear. If you look for some of the other manufacturers like brunotti, da kine and protest, you will find that some of them do hardwearing pants and shorts in quite funky designs which should be quite good and different to anything else on the dropzone.Never try to eat more than you can lift
GravityGirl 0 #4 March 19, 2004 That is right! They are kitesurf and TerraBoard gear. They work great for swooping and sliding, etc. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
mfrese 0 #5 March 19, 2004 I bought a pair of $20 cargo pants and sewed some Cordura onto the seat, and they've lasted almost three years. These sound much better though...'specially the padding. Please post pics and/or weblink if you've got it...pretty please? Thanks, MikeDoctor I ain't gonna die, Just write me an alibi! ---- Lemmy/Slash
