Chizazz 0 #1 March 14, 2004 My new rig has a Sabre 210 in an Infinity container made for a 170. It's a bitch getting it in the bag but after that it goes into the container ok. Is this ok to do ya think?? Our DZO says it's fine. Hmmm.....
sundevil777 102 #2 March 14, 2004 What is the container size, it is on the main lift web label (I-??).People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am
riggerrob 643 #3 March 14, 2004 Which size of Infinity did you buy? The quickest way to test that canopy/combination is to pack it up completely, then pull on the pilotchute. If you CANNOT pick the rig up by the bridle, then that combination will deploy okay.
TribalTalon 0 #4 March 14, 2004 uhh wouldnt it also be pretty bad if the bag wont come out of the container? (bag lock) but that all goes back to what size infinity he bought.
skybytch 273 #5 March 14, 2004 Quoteuhh wouldnt it also be pretty bad if the bag wont come out of the container? (bag lock) The bag staying in the container is not a bag lock. A bag lock is when the bag comes out of the container but doesn't come out of the deployment bag.
TribalTalon 0 #6 March 14, 2004 hmm.. what is it called when the bag is stuffed so tightly in the container that the pin wont come out? looks like a pilot chute in tow.
skybytch 273 #7 March 14, 2004 Quotewhat is it called when the bag is stuffed so tightly in the container that the pin wont come out? looks like a pilot chute in tow. If the container isn't opening (pin not clearing loop) but the pilot chute has been thrown it's a p/c in tow. I've heard some people call a situation where the pilot chute is thrown, the pin is pulled but the bag doesn't come out of the container a "container lock." SarahC07 0 #8 March 14, 2004 Hey, I have an older used Vector 3 V328 and I put a Spectre 150 main in it.. the chart said it would only hold up to a Spectre 135... so, I e-mailed relative workshop and they told me it would easily hold a Spectre 150 with a PD reserve... My new system was completed this Friday Sarah
GravityGirl 0 #9 March 14, 2004 With an overstuffed container, you MAY be putting extra stress on the stitching. Something to look for. Couldn't tell for sure without seeing it first hand. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!
