TALONSKY 0 #1 March 4, 2004 Infinity rock’s. I had a minor problem with my rig nothing big (Secondary riser covers went limp). The ballistic material went soft. I e-mailed Kelly and asked if he could fix it. He replied the next day to send it up when convenient and he would fix it. When the reserve was due, I sent the rig to Kelly. Since I have two rigs I told him it would not be a problem with time. Less than two weeks later I got the rig back with a free reserve repack. linestretch 0 #2 March 5, 2004 yuppers, gotta agree with you Kirk. I took my rig up there and showed Kellly some fraying, and he took it from me. Ten minutes later, it was done plus with a mod to the main closing flap. All at no cost. Their customer service is rock solid.my pics & stuff!
slug 1 #3 March 5, 2004 Agree with all of the above. The business is small enough that your always dealing with the President of the company where customer service comes firstTalked with Mr Farrington the other day about the problem of "estimated" delivery time some of the container company's are off by month's Velocity Sports estimate may be off a couple of days if their very busy a couple of weeks max! My next container will be a infinity (If I get one). R.I.P.

Amazon 7 #6 March 5, 2004 Totally agree.. Excellent Product and Customer service and everyone there really CARES.. that is hard to find. The whole operation at Kapowsin is like that the whole family is one class act.
psw097 0 #7 March 5, 2004 I totally agree. Velocity Sports builds an excellent product and they always provides great customer service. I'm on my 3rd Infinity. One of mine has around 1000 jumps and looks/functions like its new. They always reply quickly to email and phone calls. I purchased my last one used and the harness did not fit that great. Kelly rebuilt the harness, repaired a broken stiffener, new BOC pouch, new chest strap and a new set of stainless risers w/inserts - all that work for $200 including the return shipping. I had to ask twice if that was enough money, I was shocked. Great customer service, prices and a quality product will always keep me buying from Velocity Sports. I have been considering an Infinity. I have had every make, and am now still waiting on my RWS new container. It pisses me off when the mfrs set the date, and won't keep it. I can understand a few days or even a week, but two, three, five weeks? C'mon, that's too much. It happens all the time too, so the scheduler should be fired. Poor customer service any way you look at it. There is no excuse for sunpath, that is why I went with RWS this time. I even told RWS if they get it to me on time (the date they gave me), I'd order another new container. That didn't help, they just don't care.Troy I am now free to exercise my downward mobility. rjf98 0 #9 March 5, 2004 You won't be dissapointed. Price, delivery time, customer service, all top notch (I would even offer best in the business). Maybe you could argue that a Dolphin was less expensive. Any option you could want is there (no skyhook yet). The design is flawless IMHO. I am now on my second infinity. I would be on my first if it weren't for one hot night in Elsinore Thinking of getting my wife a new container, and you can bet that no matter when I do it WILL be an infinity. dgskydive 0 #10 March 5, 2004 Kelly has gotta love all the attention he has been getting on here over the last few weeks. There customer service is the best! Comes from that small town Washington atmosphere. I have never had a customer walk away with a bad taste in their mouth from dealing with Velcocity Sports. That says a lot in an industry where the customers are so picky and individual about there gear. Keep it up guys! Just don't let Kelly drive your car or work on your clutch!!Dom
rjp 1 #11 March 5, 2004 I posted a similar comment in "post your infinity" thread but appropriate here...Received PERSONAL call from Kelly today letting me know my rig was done..we chatted etc.. Kelly and Jeff, GREAT customer service. P.S. TURNAROUND TIME FROM ORDER TO SHIPMENT (WITH CUSTOM TIE-DYE).....MAYBE A MONTH!!!!! NICE.....
Praetorian 1 #12 March 6, 2004 All the people I've delt with at kapowsin are great (my first jumps were there) I got a used Infinity and the support when I was looking was unreal, they looked up all the measurements knew exactly whos rig I was looking at and made sure I was getting the right rig for me .. and they knew they were getting Nothing from the deal, just helping me get a good used container and helping one of their owners pass on his gear (so he could buy new gear for his kid), oh and when I got it they sent me a manual first class mail and laughed at me on the phone when I offered to pay for the postage, class act all the way Good Judgment comes from experience...a lot of experience comes from bad judgment. hookitt 1 #13 March 6, 2004 I'll agree completely. The service I've received has been great. I'm generally an easy customer but I do have a few requests that are slightly less than stock. All of my requests have been met with out question. I've talked directly to Kelly and also to Jeff. Both have taken care of me very well. I will gladly show off my rig to others in hopes to get more of them in our area. I mean heck.. they're pretty darn easy to work on and the function really well. Being a rigger I certainly don't mind that!My grammar sometimes resembles that of magnetic refrigerator poetry... Ghetto
