phoenixlpr 0 #2 March 3, 2004 Im not usre if the coolest patters is the most important. For me high visibility was the most important factor. Ive ordered Red-NeonYellow-White-Red-Red-Red-Red-Red-Red ribs, bottoms match the upper skin.
Zeemax 0 #3 March 3, 2004 do what i did when i ordered mine. Save the PD design proggy in your favourites list, pick 2 colours that you want to use, go to the pub, get absolutely wasted, come back, somehow call up the PD site, design the canopy. When you wake up the next day, live with your decision and put the order through. Its lead to an interesting combination Phoenix Fly - High performance wingsuits for skydiving and BASE Performance Designs - Simply brilliant canopies
darrenspooner 0 #4 March 3, 2004 Fantastic, I'll do that. I could put a twist on that by drinking so much I puked then look for the 2 dominant colours in the puke, and design the canopy with those. Having said that, orange and green won't look great.

I am a fan of light colored canopies with dark ribs. Light bottom skin, dark ribs(different from topskin color) and dark topskin sounds good as well. Kris. AggieDave 6 #14 March 4, 2004 Green and black. Looks freak'n sweet! Oh, on your canopy, don't have a lot of black, that would make it hard to find after a cutaway.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline."

algboy 0 #19 March 4, 2004 "I am a fan of light colored canopies with dark ribs." I love that x-ray look!! It's so cool, but I rarely see it. I also love those hot neon colors that I see so often at the DZ--especially Arizona colors (as in state flag): orange/yellow (w/navy blue trim) I think about my "dream canopy" all the time . . . “Keep your elbow up!" Scrumpot 1 #20 March 4, 2004 I've always liked the old batwing mosaic-type color scheme they had on the canopies they made back in the early to mid 90's. Pretty unique.coitus non circum - Moab Stone

GravityGirl 0 #22 March 5, 2004 QuoteHow about green top and bottom skin and pink ribs, kind of watermelon looking. That won't look like a watermellon, that will look like $#!+. No. Seriously. When you mix and match top and bottom skins and contrast ribs, you have to understand that the fabric is lets the light shine through and the two colors mix. If you get out your paints and mix pink and green, see what you get. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Peace and Blue Skies! Bonnie ==>Gravity Gear!

KolinskyDC 0 #25 March 5, 2004 I am getting ready to make this decision in a month or so myself, at least the container which I want to match the canopy, which I will order in a few months. As far as containers go, the sharpest looking I have seen was red, black and white. I think I will go with that color scheme, just not sure what the pattern will be on the canopy. Another one I think is awesome is the white canopy with a small American flag in the center of the bottom skin, but don't really care for the whole canopy being the American flag.
