This is an email I got from one of the Forest Service law enforcement officers who came out to greet us. Hope she doesn't mind that I posted her email here since I didn't ask her. ........ I enjoyed the day immensely. Glad it worked out for everybody. You have a great Mom ... she probable has died a thousand deaths raising you and enjoyed it all. Some District folks and Fish & Game watched for awhile on Monday. I was going to watch but I needed my day off after slushing around in the snow. A photo of someone with a red chute is floating about our e-mails now. I hope the Forest Service doesn't ever make it illegal to base jump off cliff's. I understand your concern of how some folks view your sport. Some of the Forest Service personal do not think sno-basing should be allowed, because it sounds so radical. I'd rather die happy than live a boring safe life, so I will continue to support you all. I passed your E-mail forward to the folks who were involved.
