It appears Bonehead has YET AGAIN upgraded the mindwarp (when will it end) They are re-naming it the pimp daddy and i was just wondering what your guy's expert opinion of it was? GraficO 0 #2 February 29, 2004 The fit is closer to a new Guner... very comfortable, plenty of room for an audible... VERY quiet when you have it on. The shape is very clean and the "wedge" style audible molding seems to give plenty of room for whichever style audible you have. Defiantely an improvement over the "Flat-Eared" one last year and the "bubble bug" one the year before that... as the shell characteristics have changed over the years. LouDiamond 1 #3 March 1, 2004 I have one and it isn't as close as the old Pimp daddy because the ear liners are a bit beefer than the old liners. The fit is very similar especially after it's baked. It's pretty much the same helmet but with improvements on the chin strap and attachment method and the dual internal audible pockets. The Pimp style velvet is no longer used though The shape is a bit different on the sides(ears) but nothing drastic. As much as we love our original mindwarps w/velvet it didn't fit every shape of head the way it should. Anybody who has a gunner knows it fits sweet. The newer stuff is more flexable and the padding is better. The gunrack, which replaces the bat & half rack, is more comfy and will fit more heads. BTW I heard that this mindwarp is the first "pimp-daddy" the others were called the pimp-daddy by vendors and users but not the factory. Whatchuthink?
