DBCOOPER 5 #2 February 23, 2004 Dude it looks the the edge stuff over your left eye is coming off already.Replying to: Re: Stall On Jump Run Emergency Procedure? by billvon If the plane is unrecoverable then exiting is a very very good idea.
sdgregory 0 #3 February 23, 2004 Damn, that's the only response I got? You're right, it was just loose though. Popped on now it is pretty tight.

scottjaco 0 #7 February 23, 2004 yah, I've got the havok helmet too. Just push the edge back up over your left eye. It's nice to see someone else with a Havok. They actually are very cool in the summer, just keep the helmet off until just before jump run. People say I look like Darth Vador, so whats wrong with looking like Darth Vader? That's funny, when I first tried it on I started doing the Vador Breathing thing. My daughter actually said the helmet was "kinda scary". I thought, "Hell Yeah!" riggerrob 643 #10 February 23, 2004 The weather has finally cleared enough that I could do a few jumps with my new Havok. Fit is great, but I think I will sew a bit of Velcro on the chin strap to prevent it from slipping. It only fogs when the temperature is well below freezing. When it is well below freezing I am comfortable while everyone else on the load is whining about being cold. The only disadvantage I have found is difficulty seeing what my tandem student is doing, so as soon as it warms up a bit more, I will dig out my old Pro-Tec for tandems. Miami 0 #11 February 23, 2004 QuotePeople say I look like Darth Vador, so whats wrong with looking like Darth Vader? Doesn't look like Vader to me, but it does look like Lord Helmet from Spaceballs when the visor is flipped up. Miami
ACMESkydiver 0 #12 February 23, 2004 Nice stuff, Sean!! I have a Havok, Amazon has a Havok, and another at our DZ has one too... And I look like a starship trooper, thanks!! I like the suit too! Who made it? I'm looking to get one as well.~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action.
sdgregory 0 #13 February 24, 2004 Miami, That is hysterical because that is exactly what I was going for. ACME, BevSuits made the suit. I love it. Definitely love the booties! Thanks everyone. I love this stuff. I can't wait till everything else gets in.
ACMESkydiver 0 #14 February 24, 2004 Funny...every Havok owner I know wears their mask a lil' different...you wear that nose thingy...I have all my padding pushed all the way down to my chin...Amazon's padding is up to her cheeks. I think we either need a Havok owner's operating manual or it's one versatile helmet! ~Jaye Do not believe that possibly you can escape the reward of your action. sdgregory 0 #15 February 24, 2004 See that because Havoc owners are truly unique people! Even our similarities are different hehe. Actually, the nose thing is there because I have a seriously huge nose that not only creates a lot of drag but is a distraction for my fellow skydivers. That nose thing just helps them keep there attention on the task at hand.
bch7773 0 #16 February 24, 2004 looks nice. a question though: don't your booties seem a little too big? It looks like your gonna have to go into one hell of an arch to get those to straighten out. MB 3528, RB 1182
Miami 0 #17 February 24, 2004 The booties will be pulled a little tighter when he has his rig on. They look loose in the pic because the crotch of the jumpsuit is hanging lower than it would be with a rig on.Miami
sdgregory 0 #18 February 25, 2004 Miami, say it right. Because I am a fat ass and cannot slow my fall rate down I have a butt load of material that is designed to slow me down. Including extra bootie (oh man - that sounds funny).
