why the crane ?? That span is hot as hell, but has been jumped during and after it's construction.
Some jumps were even shown on TV

This is just my imagination but: double groundrush. First the bridge...then the ground. Plus it's higher so the fun lasts longer. Anyway...not all that important "why" the crane. The crane just seemed like a rush to me.
