I love the BASE community

Alright, as some of you may know I am currently in Iraq. Recently I travelled south to the country of Qatar on business. I met up with another BASE jumper, Rich. He is stationed there. I would like to publicly thank him for his hospitality while I was down there. He drove to another post to come and pick me up and take me off post. Rich and his friends showed me a great time and I would like to publically thank him for a great time. Everytime I have traveled across the country or across the world in this case, other BASE jumpers have shown me the best hospitality. I think it is the greatest community around. Not only that, a small one as well. Here I am at war and I hook up with another american jumper with the same circle of friends. It is just the greatest thing. Attached are a few pics of us on the Persian Gulf. Thanks again Rich for a great time.
